Fitkids

About Fitkids

Fitkids is the fitness and exercise programme for children aged six to eighteen suffering from a chronic illness, disability or long-term disorder. The children train and move for a period of six to twelve months under the supervision of a (paediatric) physiotherapist, both individually on fitness equipment and in groups. The group training involves a wide range of sports and competitions. Individual targets are set for each child with the aim of improving its physical and mental condition. The ultimate objective is to move on to become a member of a sports club.
