FAQ

Does Doctors for Children also organise projects outside the Netherlands?

No. Projects such as Fitkids or Geld&ik are organised in the Netherlands only, although the scope of Cyberpoli, an Internet project, does also reach Dutch-speaking territories such as Flanders in Belgium, the Netherlands Antilles and Surinam.

Does Doctors for Children also finance projects of third parties?

No, we do not finance third-party projects, as we ourselves depend on donations and sponsors for the implementation of our projects.

Does Doctors for Children also provide financial aid in the actual treatment of a sick child in the Netherlands or other countries in the Netherlands?

No, unfortunately, Doctors for Children is not able to make a financial contribution towards the treatment of a sick child. This is because we ourselves depend on donations and sponsors for the implementation of our projects.

Can I start a fund-raising campaign for Doctors for Children?

We are definitely interested in that. Please contact us so that we can discuss the best way forward towards setting up and implementing such a campaign.

I have come up with a great idea to help children and young people suffering from a chronic illness. Can I contact Doctors for Children?

Yes, we are definitely interested in ideas or proposals aimed at improving the care for children and young people living with a chronic illness.  Together we can make a joint assessment as to whether and how we can work out the idea into a concept or project.
